We are pleased to announce that our next exhibition "Against the Grain" at the Alliance Française will include famous eco-artist Manjit Gogoi. Our goal to use creativity to promote sustainability and environmental care is ideally aligned with Manjit Gogoi's unique approach to art, as demonstrated by his transforming works.
Manjit Gogoi is an eco-artist whose work has drawn notice for its distinctive fusion of environmental activism and artistic expression. Gogoi uses urban rubbish as his main medium, turning trashed items into thought-provoking artworks that spark conversations about sustainability. He is inspired by the necessity for planetary caretaking.
By utilizing unconventional materials like plastic bottles, metal scraps, and other urban debris, Gogoi questions preconceived ideas about art and consumerism. His works offer a look into the transforming potential of artistic expression while serving as a forceful reminder of the effects that human activity has on the environment.
In honour of World Environment Day, Manjit Gogoi's artwork will be on display at Galerie Romain Rolland from April 22 to May 7. Attendees of the exhibition will have the chance to interact with Gogoi's intriguing creations up close and participate in conversations on sustainable living and environmental preservation.
Artlune extends an invitation to all art lovers, environmentalists, and members of the community to join us in raising awareness of the value of environmental stewardship. We hope to stimulate action and deepen understanding of the relationship between art, culture, and the environment by presenting artists such as Manjit Gogoi.
We can't wait to present "Against the Grain" at Galerie Romain Rolland and highlight the creative efforts of artists like Manjit Gogoi who are bringing about good change.
